The KLARPRESURE UV pressure filter is used for the comprehensive treatment of water in water storage tanks with a capacity of up to 8000 litres. The filter offers a three-stage filtration. In addition to mechanical and biological filtration, it sterilises water with the UVC 11W lamp (which prevents water from blooming and fights algae and dangerous parasites). The maximum flow rate is 4000 l / h.
Functionality:
As soon as the KLARPRESSURE UV filter is in the water, the water runs through three layers of sponge, which removes solid impurities. Next, it is subjected to biological filtration. The water is sterilised at the outlet of the filter.
The innovative technological solutions of the KLARPRESURE UV filter make maintenance and cleaning easier. The REVERSECLEAN functionality consists in the self-cleaning of filter media. The filter cover contains an additional outlet. To use the automatic cleaning function, attach the outlet hose to this additional connection and place the button on top of the filter in the CLEAN position. This reverses the flow of water through the filter media, flushing out any contaminants that have accumulated in the filter.
The impurities are carried away with the water through the hose attached to the additional outlet opening. The drained water can be used to water lawns or flower beds as natural organic pollutants make excellent fertilisers.
The automatic REVERSECLEAN filter cleaning function ensures that the filter stays clean throughout the season without the device having to be opened and cleaned as usual.
With the BY-PASS function, you can open the filter for maintenance purposes (e.g. to change the filter cartridges) without having to switch off the pump. After the button on the top of the filter is set to the “bypass” position, the openings at the bottom of the lid will be closed and water will only flow through the lid, bypassing the inside of the filter. Then you can loosen the lid and easily replace the filter medium.
Filter media:
The KLARPRESURE UV pressure filter is supplied with phenol-free sponges and layered polystyrene balls.
- The phenol-free sponge is used for mechanical filtration. In addition, it provides a particularly favourable environment for the development of bacterial cultures that are responsible for removing biological pollutants from the reservoir.
- The styrofoam balls have special ribs and openings. Their action is based on the differentiation of aerobic conditions for biochemical processes. On the outer surface of the spheres, the aerobic conditions are favourable for the oxidation of organic compounds.
The total capacity of the filter medium supplied with the KLARPRESSURE UV pressure filter is 20 litres.
