Create the best conditions for marine animals. The micronutrients and macronutrients contained in the formula fully fulfill the demand of corals for proper growth and pigmentation. Probiotic bacteria contained in the salt reduce the content of nitrates and phosphates, and prevents the growth of pathogenic bacteria in the marine aquarium .
Probiotic Reef Salt Contains vitamins and amino acids.
After dissolving the salt, freshly prepared marine water can be used immediately. When setting up new aquariums it is recommended that the first animals are placed no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the aquarium.
Instructions for use: Dissolve the salt in previously prepared demineralized water. Water temperature should be about 24`C (75`F). For salinity 33 ppt dissolve 3.80kg (8.4lbs) of salt in 100 liters (27 US gal.) of water. Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 minutes. When the salt is fully dissolved and the solution clear, the marine water is ready to use.
Aquaforest recommend to keep salinity between 33 to 35 ppt.

AF CORAL AMINO MIX

Essential for marine aquarium, especially for Ultra Low Nutrient Systems (ULNS). Contains concentrated amino acids, one of the main source of energy for all types of corals and filter feeders. It accelerates metabolism, aids growth as well as vitality. In natural coral reefs the concentration of total amino acids is low. It fluctuates between 200-500 nmol/l. However the latest scientific research proves that coral can adsorb up to 7 times more amino acids depending on availability. Amino acids are very easily removed by skimming process, ozone or granulated carbon. Regular dosing its highly recommended.

AF Phosphate Minus

Efficient medium for fluidization filters. Too much food and supplements may be the cause of too high phosphate levels. Due to the unique technology Phosphate Minus effectively reduces phosphate and silicate levels in marine aquariums. Its adsorbing capabilities allow bonding large amounts of phosphate without negative influence on the aquarium inhabitants. Phosphate Minus is highly recommended both in new and in matured aquariums. In freshly set aquariums it prevents occurring high phosphate levels and in matured aquariums it reduces PO4 levels and stabilizes water chemistry. Due to maintaining the biological balance in the tank, it prevents the formation of undesirable green algae and the development of cyanobacteria. Dosage: 25-100 ml per 100 l (27 US gal) of water. Phosphate Minus should be placed in media reactors with suggested water flow of at least 400 l/hr. It’s also suitable for a passive use in filter socks. Phosphate Minus should be replaced every 4 weeks or during significant rise of phosphate levels in the water. Shortly after placing in a filtration system, the product may slightly colour water. Although, Phosphate Minus should not be rinsed before use, brown dust is an active phosphate remover and is completely harmless for the aquatic life. Brown colouration of water will disappear after a short time. Rinsing the product in a RODI water will lower its efficiency.

Formula of chemical composition of components 1+, 2+, 3+- is based on method developed by H. Balling, however, it has been modified and enriched with microelements necessary for normal function of a marine aquarium. This way, we have obtained 3 fluids intended for dosing in equal amounts on regular basis in order to fulfill coral demand not only in terms of magnesium and calcium, but also in terms of all other elements, which doses may be difficult for establishing under home conditions, and which require careful and systematic dosing. Maintaining adequate level of magnesium and calcium allows preserving suitable amounts of microelements in a reef aquarium (Ca 400-440 mg/L, Mg 1280-1350 mg/L). In case of a reservoir containing average number of hard corals, the dose is approximately 50 ml daily per 100 liters of water.

AF STONE FIX

Quickly bonding glue based on cement. Best for joining large elements of live or ceramic rock. It does not contain toxic compounds which makes it 100% safe for fish and invertebrates.
Small amount of glue should be mixed with water until homogeneous, plastic consistency. Start linking the elements immediately. Dry linking is recommended. In case linking under water is necessary, switch off all circulatory and shunt pumps, link individual elements and leave for bonding for 15 minutes. Temporary water blushing will not be harmful. For large percentage of plants in aquarium, linking of no more than 2-3 elements a day is recommended as the sediment might slightly elevate the water pH in aquarium.
