Reef•Basis Magnesium is a high quality, ionically balanced solution of hydrated magnesium salts designed to safely raise the magnesium level in marine aquariums, providing essential magnesium for support of aragonite formation in corals, assisting in regulation of calcium and alkalinity levels and for other desirable functions. It contains no acetate, gluconates, polygluconates or other unnecessary organics to pollute your aquarium. It is phosphate and nitrate free.
Proper control of magnesium level is imperative for the health and growth of corals as well as maintenance of calcium and buffer levels. Some sea salt mixes are low in magnesium. Continuum recommends that you maintain a magnesium level of between 1,250 and 1,350 mg/L (ppm) for normal reef keeping. This product is also suitable for use by hobbyists who want to raise the magnesium level up to the range of 1,500 to 1,800 mg/L (ppm) for special uses. If you raise the magnesium level that high, be sure to closely monitor the condition of corals and other animals to make sure that they remain healthy and vibrant. Should negative signs such as corals refusing to open, poor coloration etc. be seen, discontinue use and allow the level to decrease until the animals look healthy again.
Shake well prior to use. Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 25 US-gallons (100 L) of marine aquarium water 3 to 4 times per week. For best results, measure the magnesium concentration and add as required to maintain the concentration between 1,250 and 1,350 mg/L (ppm).
Dosing through use of a drip system is a superior method of addition. Do not mix with buffers or alkalinity supplements prior to addition. You may mix it with strontium, calcium, and many other supplements. See our website for compatibility of supplements. Determine the amount of magnesium consumption during the time it takes add the entire volume of your drip system. Determine the amount of Reef•Basis Magnesium to add in milliliters by multiplying your tank capacity in gallons by the amount you want to raise it in mg/l (ppm) and by 0.0533. (Example: if you have a 50 gallon tank and you want to raise the level by 10 ppm with the entire dose, you would multiply 50 x 10 x 0.0533 which equals 26.65 ml of Reef•Basis Magnesium or about 5-1/4 capfuls).
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption. Contains magnesium salts, if ingested drink water, call a poison control center immediately! If in eyes flush with water.
Ideal For Direct Fed Coral
A nutrient package that stimulates feeding response.
Mix two parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite™ to form a gel. Wait 3 minutes to set then use a dropper to place mixture on the mouth of the coral to be fed.
Ideal for many LPS (large polyp stony corals) and sea anemone which have larger mouths.
Squirt & Go™ Feeding
Mix four parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite™ to form a low viscosity liquid with a creamy texture. Use a dropper to squirt food with a slow motion in the vicinity of the corals to be fed. The viscosity can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of tank water.
|We recommend Hikari Marine CORALIFIC DELITE as a daily diet for|
|Soft corals like horny coral and feather dusters which have a smaller mouth.|

Upgrade your Ecotech Marine Radion XR30 Light!
Even Spread & Coloration
Once you put the XR30 Diffuser on your Ecotech Radion LED light you will instantly see a better balance of light throughout your aquarium. PAR tests have proven that even though the overall peak PAR numbers will decrease, the lower light areas will actually receive more light from a diffused source. The overall light loss is around 20%, and since a majority of us do not use even 80% of the available lighting output, the PAR loss can be combatted by increasing the overall power delivered to the LEDs.
Increased Spectrum Blending
Diffusing LED lights greatly helps blend the overall spectrum into one cohesive light source. Traditionally aquarium LEDs have used optics to increase the penetration of the light, but doing so actually makes each LED into its own little spotlight, making it harder for colors to blend. With the overall amount of light available in modern reef tank LEDs, more power is not exactly the best thing, and throughout our testing, we have found that evenly spread light that is blended properly is more important for coral health and growth.
LED lights are known for producing a lot of shimmer, also known as the "disco-ball effect" and the Ecotech Radion Diffuser directly attacks this problem head-on. With the overall goal being to mimic the natural sunlight or metal halide shimmer effects, the XR30 Diffuser is not perfect, but it gets much closer than almost any LED available today.
Installation only takes a few minutes, and by unscrewing the bottom plate with a Phillips screwdriver, you can then attach the mounting adapter plate. The diffuser lens will then magnetically attach to the adapter plate. The magnetic attachment makes the diffuser lens very easy to clean

The HI747-25 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Copper Low Range Checker® HC. These reagents follow the Bicinchoninate Method in which the reaction between copper and the reagent causes a purple tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI747-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI747 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppb of copper. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 999 ppb copper.
