A safe, all-natural way to treat bacterial infections in saltwater fish and corals. Use to treat open, red sores and wounds, fin and tail rot, eye cloud, pop eye, body slime and mouth fungus on fish. MelaFix Marine is also used in commercial coral farms to control bacterial infections, tissue degradation and for the removal of parasitic flatworms in wild corals. MelaFix Marine can be used in all marine aquariums and has been tested and found to be safe in reef aquariums containing invertebrates, such as live corals and anemones. Treating with MelaFix Marine will not harm the biological filter in saltwater aquariums.
Directions for use
As a disease or wound treatment for marine fish and corals in the aquarium: Remove activated carbon and turn off protein skimmer. Shake bottle well. Using dosing cap on bottle, add 5 ml (1 tsp) per 10 U.S. gallons of aquarium water. Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Replace activated carbon and turn on protein skimmer. The protein skimmer will collect excess foam. Be prepared to dispose of the foam as it will be significant. It may be necessary to turn down the protein skimmer for a few days until the foaming subsides.
As a coral dip: Corals may be treated in small containers and then placed in the aquarium. Shake bottle well. Using dosing cap on bottle, add 20 ml (4 tsp) per ½ U.S. gallon of aquarium water. Make sure the water temperature, pH and salinity are correct. Place the coral in the water for 3-5 minutes. Corals should be "shaken" under water to help dislodge worms. After a maximum treatment time of 5 minutes, place the corals into the aquarium.
Fish disease is directly related to poor water quality and the buildup of waste in the aquarium. Many diseases breed in accumulated debris. To improve water quality, reduce waste promote a cleaner aquarium use API Stress Zyme.
Tunze Co2 Pressure Reducer 7077/3

Dennerle CO2 Night Cut-off Valve Comfort
For magnificent plant growth, DENNERLE recommends a CO2 content in the aquarium of approx. 20 mg/l.
As certain correlations apply between CO2 content, carbonate hardness (CH) and pH value, the CO2 content in the water can be calculated according to a simple procedure:
Measure the carbonate hardness of your aquarium water.
Read the pH value which corresponds to the desired CO2 content from the table. You should set this pH value +/- 0.1 by adjusting the number of bubbles accordingly. Example: Carbonate hardness 4 °d, recommended pH 6.8 +/- 0.1.
The procedure is even simpler with the DENNERLE CO2 long-term test Correct + pH.
$18.00Dymax Base Soil series decreases the hardness of the water and lower the pH level to the degree at which most aquatic plants can consume nutrients and comfortably grow. The soil granules maintain the shape and density underwater security good circulation of water oxygen through the substrate. With Dymax Base Soil, growing difficult plants become easier and it is ideal for fishes demanding soft water.
